Research: ILM - Trust in Leaders 2018
The latest ‘Trust in Leaders’ report from the Institute of Leadership & Management (ILM) has revealed employees today trust their leaders less than they did seven years ago.
The Institute has been researching leadership trust since 2009, but this year finds:
- Trust in CEOs has fallen by 8% since 2011
Interestingly, of all the sectors surveyed, financial services leaders are considered the most trusted, followed closely by those in the health sector.
By comparison, the least trusted CEOs work in local and national government, closely followed by engineering/manufacturing and education.
