Report: What employees want from HR and benefits professionals post-pandemic

A new report from Edenred provides organisations with key insight into how they need to adapt to meet employee needs as we emerge from the pandemic.

Report: What employees want from HR and benefits professionals post-pandemic 1

The Embracing Change report asked more than 2,000 UK workers the areas where their organisation had performed well through the pandemic, and the support they need from employers in 2021.

It found that:

  • over half of UK employees think that HR policy and benefits are out of step with what’s needed for hybrid working
  • recognition and reward in particular are poorly aligned to employee expectations
  • one in four employees say they need mental health support in 2021 after a year of disrupted working.

With additional research which investigates the actions that more than 100 employers are taking in the year ahead, the report provides critical intelligence for any organisation which wants to review and improve employees’ benefits to ensure they are fit for purpose as we move to a world of hybrid working.
