Speaking at the REBA Innovation Day 2018 he said the changing needs of employees means a changing demographic and requirements from all levels of employees for everything from culture to reward. “It’s about focusing back to what’s the demographic,” he said.
He described today as an information age and said personalisation and segmentation were key for engagement. “Segmentation is not just about working out who are the high achievers but who are the new starters, who are the one’s five years from retirement – there’s simple segmentation you can start sending messages to. It’s really starting to use personalisation and segmentation together,” he said.
He talked about the role of IT systems and platforms in supporting this.
