Podcast: Pensions and the Coronavirus crisis, featuring Joanne Fairbairn from Marks & Spencer

Maggie Williams, content director at REBA, is joined by Joanne Fairbairn, head of pensions at Marks and Spencer, and Robert Cochrane, retirement expert at Scottish Widows, to discuss the effect of coronavirus on pension schemes and providers, and how they are responding as a result.

Like many other areas of reward and benefits, pensions have been hit hard by the coronavirus outbreak. The impact will be felt not just as part of the immediate crisis, but also in the longer term as pension schemes and providers work hard to engage – or reengage – members with their retirement savings.

This is the first in a series of three podcasts created by REBA in association with Scottish Widows. Listen to the other podcasts:

Helping employees engage with pensions, featuring Ross Matthews from Centrica.

Making pensions a part of everyday financial wellbeing, featuring Marks & Spencer, Centica and University of Lincoln.
