James Brown of Siemens on his wellbeing plans
James Brown, health management lead at Siemens, outlines his health priorities and what the organisation's future wellbeing plans are.
The key focuses at Siemens are currently mental health, in particular stress management, and musculoskeletal disorders.
"We're also trying to go back to basics and re-evaluate the core elements of our wellbeing strategy to revisit the metrics, explore why we're doing what we're doing and make sure it's properly targeted," he says.
The organisation is in the process of rolling-out mental health awareness training, which is predominately aimed at managers but it is open to all. Brown explains that the aim of the training is to raise awareness of the symptoms caused by mental health disorders and how staff can help those who require support.
